New Ownership at Hawaiian Five-OH, Same Great Service
On September 1, 2020, Hawaiian Five-OH and Magic Ice became a member of The Cone family when the Wren family purchased the business from the Russell family. Almost 30 years ago when Keith Wren and his father started The Cone, Bob Russell helped them develop a business plan that helped The Cone become the success that it has been in West Chester.
Since then, The Cone has always used the flavors produced by Hawaiian Five-OH for their shave ice. Over the years, Keith has tried different shave ice flavors from other businesses but said no one came close to the taste and quality of Hawaiian Five-OH. So when the Russell family announced they were going to sell the business, Keith said he was interested in buying it. The Russell family wanted someone they felt would maintain the integrity, quality, and customer service they had developed so they were excited to sell it to the Wren family.
Along with adding the production of the shave ice flavors, The Cone adds the Hawaiian Five-OH mobiles to their Mobile Cone family of concession trailers. We are excited to now offer the opportunity for people to bring out a Mobile Cone or a Hawaiian Five-OH trailer for their events. We have already been doing several soccer tournaments in Warren County along with AppleFest. The Hawaiian Five-OH shave ice trailers are an exciting and fun addition to our Mobile Cone family.
We are happy to continue the same quality and customer service that you all have experienced with Hawaiian Five-OH. We have moved the business to West Chester to The Cone’s property to help us maintain that quality and customer service.
